About Magalir Urimai Thogai Scheme
The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu state M.K Stalin has launched Magalir Urimai Thogai Scheme. Under this scheme, the Tamil Nadu government will provide financial assistance of Rs.1,000 to women of Tamil Nadu state. With the help of this money, the women can become financially independent & self – sufficient. They do not have to depend on anyone for their day to day expenses. The financial assistance of Rs.1,000 will be provided every month. The benefit of this scheme will be provided to nearly 10 lakh women of Tamil Nadu state. The government has also released the date of registration for this scheme. Candidates can apply for this scheme from 15 September, 2023 respectively. Information related to last date of registration has not been released yet. The government has set a budget of Rs.7 thousand crores for the implementation of this scheme.
