The RTE stands for Right of Children To Free and Compulsory Education. The RTE Tamil Nadu Admission is a process to cover free education to the reserved category students. According to this admission process, there will be 25% seats reserved in the private schools for primary education through RTE TN Admission. The main objective of Tamil Nadu government to launch RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2023 is to provide basic & compulsory education to all. RTE Tamil Nadu Admission Eligibility Criteria
Basic eligibility for the RTE TN Admission is written below-
- The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
- The applicant must be a permanent resident or domicile of Tamil Nadu state.
- Socially backward students can apply for RTE Tamil Nadu Admission .
- The annual income of the applicant family should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
Students Eligibility Criteria
- For taking admission in LKG class, the children must be born between July 31, 2017 to July 31, 2018.
- For 1 class admission, the children must be born between July 31, 2015 to July 31, 2016.

- A new page will appear. Fill all the required details such as name, gender, date of birth (DOB), community, phone number etc.
- Then click on ‘Save’ option that is given on the bottom of right side of the page.
- You have successfully registered yourself for the TN RTE Admission. You will receive your application number on the text message on the phone number you have registered.
Procedure to Login on the Tamil Nadu RTE Admission
- Firstly, you have to visit the Official Website of TN RTE Admission.
- Then on homepage, Click on ‘Login’ option.
- Now, a new page will appear with login credentials.
- Enter your Application number, Password.
- Then click on ‘Login’ button.
- Now, enter your parents details & address details.
- Upload all the required documents.
- Now, finally click on ‘Submit‘ button.
