Government of Maharashtra Vikas Agadi headed by Chief Minister Mr Uddhav Thackeray has announced a new scheme for the benefits of the farmers. Under this scheme, the government is going to waiver the crop loan of the farmer’s as pre promised by Shiv Sena, NCP & Congress coalition (MAV Government). The name of the scheme is “Maharashtra Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Loan Waiver Scheme”. Under this scheme, all the crop loans outstanding up to Rs. 2 Lakh till 30th September 2019 will be covered. This scheme has been announced in the legislative assembly on the last day of the winter session of the legislature.

Procedure to Apply for Maharashtra Farmer Loan Waiver Scheme
The scheme has been started by the Maharashtra government to waive off the loan from the various farmers of the state. So, farmers of the state who are willing to apply for the Yojana have to apply through offline mode. The applicant has to visit the nearest bank ok with the documents like Aadhar card, bank passbook, etc. Take the application form from the concerned department. Fill up all the mandatory information in the application form and attach all the mandatory documents with the application form. Now submit the application form to the concerned department of the bank. On successful completion of the procedure, the amount of the loan will be transferred to the bank account of the applicant.
