About Karnataka Ganga Kalyana Scheme
The Karnataka Kalyana Scheme was introduced by the Karnataka Minority Development Corporation. By drilling bore wells or digging open wells, the recipients of this program will receive irrigation facilities for agricultural land, which will then be outfitted with pump sets and accessories. For each borewell project, the government has allotted Rs 1.50 lakh and Rs 3 lakh. This sum will be used to drill borewells, supply pumps, and put aside Rs. 50,000 for an electrification deposit. Bangalore urban, Bengaluru rural, Ramanagara Kolar, Chikkaballapur, and Tumkur districts would receive a subsidy of Rs 3.5 lakh. A 2 lakh rupee subsidy would also be given to the other districts.
