Oasis Scholarship 2023
Online Application For Scholarship In Studies (OASIS) is a scholarship program started by the government of West Bengal to provide financial help to the various students of the state. The scholarship scheme works under the Backward Classes Welfare Department and Tribal Development Department. There are various scholarship schemes provided under this scholarship program. Students belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Other Backward Classes community can be benefited through this scholarship scheme. Students desirable to take the advantage of the scholarship scheme have to apply online through the official website of the scholarship. Pre-matric scholarship for SC students
The applicant must be a student of class 9th and 10th and belong to SC category. His/ Her family/guardian income must not be more than INR 2 Lakh per annum from all sources.
Pre-matric scholarship for ST students
Only applicants to ST category are eligible for this scholarship. Students of class 9th and 10th are eligible to apply. The annual family/guardian income must not be more than INR 2 Lakh from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for SC/ST students
The applicant must be studying at the post-secondary or post-matriculation level and belong to SC/ST category. Annual income of the applicant parents/guardian should not be more than INR 2.5 Lakh from all sources.
Post-matric scholarship for OBC students
Only applicants to OBC category are eligible for this scholarship. The applicant must be studying at the post-secondary level. Annual income of the family/guardian from all sources should not be more than INR 1 Lakh.
