Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana was launch on 1st July, 2015 with the aim to provide irrigation water to every agricultural field in the next five years. PMKSY Scheme will provide all the water management systems and solutions in irrigation supply chain and Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana will encourage farmers to install micro irrigation systems in their agricultural fields. PMKSY-PDMC will manage the use of irrigation water and teach the farmers of the country how to utilize the water in their crops.

The main objective of the Prime Minister Krishi Sinchayee Yojana is to utilize the irrigation water and increasing the cultivated areas in the next five years. Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare want to improve the irrigation water distribution systems through different irrigation recourses and for completing this objective government start the PMKSY-PDMC Scheme. This scheme will provide equal right to get irrigation water to each farmer of the country. PMKSY will surely save the water and teach the farmer of India how to use modern technology in their fields.
