Punjab Free Smartphone Scheme has approved by the state government. It’s a pre poll promise of the government in their election manifesto. In the first Phase the UG and PG students of government schools, colleges and technical institutions would be eligible for Punjab Free Smartphone distribution Scheme 2021. The objective of Free Smartphone Scheme is to provide the digital access to the students so that they can connect with latest technologies of the world.

Free Smartphone Distribution Scheme 2022
For filling the pre poll promise of distribution to the youth of the state the government of Punjab approved the scheme. In their election manifesto they had mentioned this scheme as Mobile Phone to the Youth. State government has given the tender to KPMG as the Project Management Consultant (PMC) to fulfill the promise. The distribution of the Smartphone will be start soon.

Eligibility For Free Smartphone Scheme
- College Identity proof
- You should be under graduating student.
- All the students will be required to submit a self certification form.
Selection Process under
At the time of applying for Smartphone scheme all UG students will be required to submit a self certification form. This Self Declaration form will ensure Student beneficiaries of this scheme are already not in a possession of Smartphone and they really require it.

The Punjab government Free Smartphone distribution Scheme which is also known as ‘Mobile Phone to the Youth’ will automatically add all the college under the scheme.
