WB Bangla Shashya Bima Scheme has been announced by the Chief Minister of West Bengal. Under the WB Bangla Shashya, Bima Scheme State Government will Cover Small, Marginal Farmers. In this scheme, the West Bengal Government will provide free crop Insurance to farmers. First of all BSB Scheme will be implemented in the First Phase and under the first phase total 15 districts will be covered. State Government has recruited Agriculture Insurance Company of India (AIC) as a nodal agency. Bangla Shashya Bima( insurance scheme) would be free of cost for the farmers and the premium amount will be paid by Government.

- Open the official website of the Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal
- Now you need to click the Register option given right-hand side of the page
- Enter the details as asked on the screen such as stakeholder, stakeholder type, user roles, email, name, mobile number, etc.
- Tick the checkbox appears on the screen with an acceptance message
- Click the “signup” option and your registration has been created
- Now fill the rest details in the application form
- Submit the application form and must take print of the form
