This time, the government has decided to launch a scheme called WB Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme 2021. Through this scheme, monetary help will be provided to the girl child of the state so that they can continue their education without any obstruction. The government has decided to give monetary help to the girls who are above age 14 years and are up to 18 years. This will help the girl students to keep their passion for studying continues up to a certain age. The amount of money will be provided to the girls’ students who are studying in between 8th to 12th class.

Kanyashree Scheme Amount

Financial help to the beneficiaries will be provided in two different ways:

An amount of rupees 750 will be given to the girl students aging between 13 to 18 years and studying in 8th to 10th class only if the girl is unmarried.
An amount of Rs 25,000 will be given in one time to the girl students on attaining 18 years of age for academic purpose or business purpose only if the girl is unmarried.

The scheme has been started with the objective of providing monetary help to the girl students so that they can continue their education without any obstruction. This will help the girl students to their goals and have a bright future ahead. Girl students will also get some time relaxation from being married earlier. Salient Features of Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme

There are many features of the scheme. Some of the most common features are as follows:
Prakalpa scheme has been started by the West Bengal government.
Under this scheme, monetary help will be provided to the girl students of the state.
This monetary help will help the students in their education.
An amount of rupees 750 will be provided to the girl students studying in 8th to 12th class.
An amount of rupees 25,000 will be provided in one time to the girl students for pursuing business or academics after 18 years.

Kanyashree Scheme Eligibility Criteria

The candidate applying for the scheme must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
Only girl students are eligible to apply in this Yojana.
She must be of the age 13 to 18 years.
She must be studying in the 8th to 12th class.
An applicant with having an annual income of less than Rs 1,20,000 is eligible to apply for this scheme.
The girl candidate must be unmarried.
The girl candidate studying in various vocational, technical, and sports courses can also apply.

How to Apply for WB Kanyashree Prakalpa Scheme

To apply for the scheme, you have to follow a very simple procedure which is given here:
You have to go to the school or institution in which you are studying currently.
Take the application form from the concerned authority.
Provide all the details to be filled in the application form.
Attach all the mandatory documents with the application form.
Check the application form details before submitting it.
Now submit the application form to your school/institution concerned department.
The department will provide you an acknowledgment slip.
Keep that slip carefully for use in the near future.

Track Application Status

To track the application of your status, the applicant has to go to the official website.

Submit Grievance

Open the Play Store of your device
Click on the Search Bar and search Kanyashree Prakalpa.
