Asan Kist Yojana 2022
Uttar Pradesh Asan Kist Yojana was launched by the Chief Minister of state. The Yojana was launched for the economically weaker section of the state. Under the यूपी आसान किस्त योजना, all the poor people of the state can pay their electricity bill through easy installments. This will help in removing the electricity bill burden from their heads. Consumers from urban areas can submit their bills in 12 easy instruments and Consumers from rural areas can submit their electricity bills in 24 easy installments.
UP Asan Kist Yojana Update
According to the latest updates in the Yojana, electricity connections of those candidates who have not submitted their remaining installment will be cut down. As per the source bi department, there were 3035 registration in the urban areas and 14050 registrations in the rural areas after which the government has provided them with installment facilities. But, some of the registered consumers have not submitted their remaining installments. So the government has planned to cut the electricity connections of the defaulter candidates.

आसान किस्त योजना Details
All the consumers from rural and urban areas having their electricity connections up to 4 kilowatts can avail of the benefits of this scheme. Under this scheme, the consumer has to pay 5% of the total bill or a minimum of rupees 1500 with the current electricity. If the amount of the total bill after calculating 5% is less than 1500, then the consumer has to pay Rs 1500. Apart from that, the consumer has to pay the current electricity bill along with the installments. If the applicant is unable to pay the installment and the current electricity bill, then he can submit it in the next month. But, if he is unable to submit for the two months continuously, then his registration will be canceled.
