TS epass Scholarship 2024

The concerned authorities of the Telangana state have ruled out some scholarship schemes for the people who are not able to afford the education. These scholarship schemes are mainly concentrated towards the poor people of the state and also to the people who are economically backwards and cannot afford to pay the tuition fees or any other extra fees that have been charged on them by the school or the colleges.

TS E- Pass Scheme Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Telangana scholarship scheme, the students must go through the following eligibility criteria as mentioned by the concerned authorities:-

• The applicant must belong among the following categories-
  • SC & ST category having an annual family income below Rs. 2 lacs.
  • BC & EBC and Minority category belonging to the rural area and having a family income below Rs. 150000.
  • Disabled category having parental income below Rs. 1 lac.
  • EBC category who are selected Under Corporate College Admissions Scheme.
  • BC & EBC and Minority category belonging to the urban area and having a family income below Rs. 2 lacs.
• The student must also have an attendance of 75% at the end of each quarter.

Non Eligibility For The Scheme

The student who will not be eligible for the Telangana scholarship schemes are mentioned below:-

• First of all, the students who are not mentioned in the list above will not be eligible for the scheme.
• General category students will not be eligible for the scheme.
• All Students pursuing part-time courses, online courses are not eligible.
• Students admitted under Sponsored seats, Management Quota seats are also not eligible.
• Students drawing the stipend more than the scholarship amount in aggregate per annum.
• EBC students studying Intermediate or equivalent courses

Scholarship Amount

Under the Telangana Epass scholarship, the following incentive will be provided to the beneficiaries:-

• Boys- Rs.100 per month for 10 months
• Girls- Rs.150 per month for 10 months.

Types Of Scholarship Available

The concerned authorities of Telangana state are providing two types of scholarships for the students that is:-

• Post-matric Scholarship for the students above class 10th.
• Pre-matric Scholarship for class 10th and below.

Post Matric Scholarship

In the category of the post-matric scholarship, the courses are divided into five groups. The information about each group is given below:-

Group-I

It involves the following courses-

• Degree and PG Courses in
  • Medicine
  • Engineering
  • Technology
  • Management
  • Agriculture
  • Veterinary
  • Allied Sciences
  • Business Finance

Group-II

It involves the following courses-

Group-III

• NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) courses

Group-IV

It involves the following courses-

• Vocational courses (Intermediate level)

Pre Matric Scholarship

• Click on the desired scholarship for which you want to renew from the homepage only.

• Now hit the Renewal Application Form option.
• A new application form will appear.
• Provide all the details to be filled in.
