Madhu Babu Pension Yojana will include the 5 lakh more Beneficiary under existing the Madhu Babu Pension Scheme. Previous Scheme is giving the benefits of pension to the beneficiary citizen from the year of 2008. Madhu Babu Pension Yojana was announced with merging two pension schemes i.e. Old Age Pension and Odisha Disability Pension Scheme. According to the new report with including new 5 Lakh beneficiaries under Madhu Babu Pension yojana the number of beneficiary will become 48 lakh. The financial assistance and pension will given by the collectors through special Camps under PEETHA Scheme.

5 Lakh Beneficiaries under Revised Madhu Babu Scheme
The state government is going to add more 5 Lakh Beneficiaries under the Madhu Babu Scheme from 15th December 2018. After implementing this additional beneficiary the number of beneficiaries will become 48 Lakhs. The objective of revising the Madhu Babu Scheme is to ensure that not a single eligible person is left from the benefits of Scheme. The work of including additional beneficiaries in the scheme will take place in the PEETHA campus. PEETHA camps will organized at panchayat levels/Block levels of each district.

Revised Key Features Of Madhu Babu Pension Yojana
- Under the Madhu Babu Pension yojana rate of pension is Rs. 300/- per month per beneficiary up to the age of 79 years & Rs. 500/- for 80 years & above but from the month December 15th 2018 Odisha government will hike the financial assistance INR 1200/- per month.
- The pension & financial assistance will be given by the collectors through special Camps under PEETHA Scheme.
- More 5 Lakh beneficiaries will added in existing Madhu Babu Pension yojana.
About New Beneficiaries Included In Madhu Babu Pension Yojana
The PEETHA camps will organized every month from dated 15th to 20th at block levels. Under these PEETHA camps all existing and 5 Lakh new beneficiaries will get the financial assistance INR 1200/- Per month. Now the total beneficiary under Revised Madhu Babu Pension Scheme is 48 Lakhs.
