To improve the livelihood of sculptors in the state government are going to start Mukhyamantri Karigar Sahayata Yojana. For successful implementation of Odisha Karigar Sahayata Scheme Directorate of handicrafts will function as the nodal department. The objective of Mukhyamantri Karigar Sahayata Yojana is to boost the morale of Craftsman or sculptors by providing them the financial support on monthly basis.

- Craftsmen who have worked for at least 10 years
- Sculptors having less than Rs 1 lakh annual income.

Benefits Of Odisha Karigar Sahayata Scheme
- Senior sculptors over 80 years in age will get Rs 1000 on monthly basis.

How To Apply Mukhyamantri Karigar Sahayata Yojana
For including the Beneficiary under the Mukhyamantri Karigar Sahayata Yojana Directorate of handicrafts who will work as a nodal agency will constitute a selection committee at district levels. These selection committees will verify the beneficiary’s document and eligibility and after the successful verifications of sculptors the financial assistance will be provided through the block development officers (BDOs).
