About Khelo India University Games 2022
Odisha State is already hosting various sport events in last few years like Asian Athletics Championships, Men’s Hockey World Cup, Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships, FIH Series Finals and Hockey Olympic Qualifiers. Now, Sports Authority of India with support of Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, Association of Indian Universities, National Sports Federation and Indian Olympic Association (IOA) and other participating universities is going to held Khelo India University Game 2020.

Locations of Khelo India University Games
The event will be held at KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha from 22nd February 2020 to 1st March 2020. In this event, 17 games will be held for the individual as well as a team event. Approximately 4,000 athletes from around 80-100 universities, apart from technical and supporting staff will take part in this event. Registration procedure for this event is not yet started but will commence soon.

KIIT has developed a sports environment that meets international sports standards. KIIT Stadium, 12 sports complexes with state-of-the-art swimming pools, outdoor courts, multi-purpose halls, and indoor stadiums are the facilities of sports activity in KIIT. The KIIT has the capacity to hold the event in day or night time too.
