Good news! Students who recently passed 12th standard examination from CHSE, Odisha, Vocational students passing from CHSE (O) and Upashastri students passing from Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri, the merit list of the students for the Free Laptop Distribution scheme is published now. Students can their name in the list and collect the laptops from the respective Principal of the nodal Centers. Principals of the 30 Nodal Centers will distribute the laptops to the students. Higher Education Department Government of Odisha is going to distribute free laptops among the students who passed 12th standard examination from CHSE, Odisha, Vocational students passing from CHSE (O), and Upashastri students passing from Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University, Puri on the basis of merit list prepared by the government district wise. Students have to collect the laptops from the principal of Nodal centers before 31st December 2019. After 31st December 2019 students will not entertain as after that the students whose name is in the supplementary list will consider.

Students who have any grievance regarding caste change, mark re-addition, etc. have to inform about the same to the concerned Principals, if genuine principle may request the department to include the name of such student in the supplementary list. The last date of distribution of laptops to the students of the supplementary list is 31st January 2022 .

Odisha Free Laptop Distribution Eligibility
- The applicant must be a resident of Odisha State.
- He should be of age limit 18-25.
- The students must be studying in class 12th of any Odisha Government School.
- The applicant must have scored at least 70% marks in the final exam.
- Students from Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University are also eligible to apply for this scheme.
- But the students of Shree Jagannath Sanskrit University must have passed Upashastri degree.
