Maharashtra Ownership Rights to 2 lakh Slum Dwellers are giving by the state. The state government has decided to give ownership rights to the slum dwellers who are living on state government lands before 2011. After getting the Ownership person will become official owner of the land. The chief minister also declared that they will also get the INR 2.50 lakh under the Pradhan Mantri awas yojana. The objective of providing the ownership pattas and benefits of PMAY Scheme is to improve the living standards of the beneficiary. Under the Maharashtra Ownership Rights to 2 lakh Slum Dwellers beneficiary will avail the benefit of the scheme.

Till now on dated 15th December 2018 total 25000 has registered and got Slum Ownership Pattas. The Slum Ownership Pattas for these registered persons distributed by the Chief minister of Maharashtra .The registry process had done in Registry offices but now due to the a huge number of slum dwellers the Chief Minister has decided to establish other special offices only for the purpose of Slum Ownership Pattas registry process.
