Cidco Mass Housing Scheme has been launched by the Maharashtra State government. On dated 18th December 2018 our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of Maharashtra EWS & LIG Housing project. In the Cidco Mass Housing Scheme government will provide all benefits as PMAY Scheme gives. Under the Maharashtra Mass Housing project total 89771 houses will construct.. Under which 53483 will be economically weaker section (EWS) and remain 36288 for Lower income group (LIG)categories.

Maharashtra EWS & LIG Housing project
The Maharashtra has inaugurated a Mass Housing Scheme of worth INR. 18000 Crore for EWS &LIG Categories. Under the Ground Breaking ceremony of Cidco’s Mass Housing Scheme as a Chief Guest our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the Foundation stone. The state government will provide these homes under the Pradhan Mantra Awas Yojana to economically weaker section(EWS) and Lower income group (LIG).

About CIDCO
CIDCO is fully owned by the state government it is known as City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO). It is situated in 17th march 1970. It is a public sector undertaking of the Government. CIDCO is also known as New Town Development Authority (NTDA). Now state government spread their areas and Today CIDCO has earned a reputation as the premier town planning and development agency in the country. So it is become Special Development Authority (SPA).

Cost Of Houses Under Cidco Housing Scheme
This there is nothing declared by the State government about the cost of the Homes but they declared that all houses will be sanction at affordable prices under the Prandhan Pantri Awas Yojana . Government will announce cost of houses after the completion of the project. The time duration of whole project is upcoming 4 to 5 years. We will soon provide you information as soon as State government will decide the cost.

Eligibility for EWS & LIG Housing project
- You should be the native of the State.
- Under the EWS category your family income should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh Annually.
- Under the LIG category your family income should not exceed INR 2.67 Lakh Annually.
- Income certificate
- Domicile certificate.
- Identity proof
- Bank account passbook
- Photograph.
