Social Justice Department, Government of Kerala comes up with one more scheme to help the physically handicapped/ differently abled students who are under 18 year of age. The name of the initiative is “Kerala Vidyajyothi Scheme 2021”. Kerala Vidyajyothi Scheme 2021
Recently the Social Justice Department conducted a state wise survey for physically handicapped/ differently abled people with the help of Kerala Social Security Mission. As per this survey there are 7,79,793 people out of which 1,30,799 persons are below 18 years of age. To uplift the education of physically handicapped/ differently abled students of the state the department has started Vidyajyothi Scheme. Under this scheme the government will provide financial help to buy uniforms and study materials to the beneficiaries of the scheme.

Kerala Vidyajyothi Scheme 2020 Eligibility
- Candidate should belong to Kerala state and must be studying in Government / Aided Institution.
- Applicant must be a physically handicapped (PH) student with 40% or more disability
- BPL candidates will get preference under this scheme

Application procedure Kerala Vidyajyothi Scheme
Here are the steps to submit the application form:-
- Firstly, grab all the scheme related details as mentioned in this article
- If you are eligible to apply then go to the official website of the social justice department
- You will find scheme option in the menu bar, click on it
- Scheme list will display on the computer screen from which you need to search “Vidyajyothi scheme- Financial aid for uniforms and study materials to PH students”
- Hit on it and look on the information available
- Now scroll the page and hit “Vidyajyothi scheme- Financial aid for uniforms and study materials to PH students” given in front of application form
- Download the application form and take print out of it
- Mention all the information as asked in it and affix your photograph
- Attach all the documents with it and go to the Head of Institution for application attest
- Deposit the application form to the concerned District Social Justice Officers
