About Seva Sindhu 2020

Karnataka government has launched a new portal called Seva Sindhu Portal to provide different services to the people of the Karnataka state. This is a One-Stop Portal where different services related to the different departments will be provided at a single platform by the government. The portal has a tagline of “No More in Line, Come Online” and that is all the scheme is saying. Under this portal, various departments of the state have arrived on one portal like the Department of Ayush, Tax Department, and many more departments. Due to the unpredicted and unexpected arrival of the corona many citizens of the state are on the verge of hunger and food scarcity, this portal will also provide financial relief to all those needy ones under the banner of “Disbursement of Cash Relief to Auto Rikshaw drivers and taxi drivers for Covid19”.

Objetive of Seva Sindhu

This Portal is one such great initiative by the Karnataka state government in providing hassle-free service to all the people of the state. The portal will converge the different departments of the state to one single platform giving services to the citizens at one single station. The scheme will be integrated with various service delivery channels of Govt of Karnataka, citizen service centers such as Bangalore One, CSC Centers, Karnataka One, Atalji Jana Snehi Kendra, and Bapuji Kendras and aims to bring to all departmental services on one platform. It will help in reducing turnaround time, minimized visits to avail services, and reduced opportunity cost. The objective is to provide Government services in a cashless, faceless, and paperless manner.
