A new scheme has been created by the Respective Chief Minister BS Yediyuràppa of Karnataka to provide financial support among the children was announced on Wednesday 05th December 2018 by the State government. The objective of the scheme is to increase the girl’s education ration in the state and also provide them better opportunity to flourish their dreams. The Karnataka Girls Education Scheme will be implemented from this academic year. The state Government has decided to bear all expenses of girl’s college education up to the post graduation. Under this scheme government will provide the benefit up to the 3.7 lakh girls of the state.

The Karnataka government is going to implement the Girl College Student Free Education scheme from the academic year. Under the Karnataka Girls Free Education Scheme the girls of the state will get the free education in government colleges in the Graduation and post graduation courses. The total cost of starting this Girls Free Education Scheme is Rs 95 crore.
About Karnataka Free College Education For Girls
The Girls of the state who are pursuing graduation and post-graduate courses in colleges run by Government will be eligible for getting the education at free of cost. Karnataka Free College Education scheme is good initiative by the Karnataka state and this scheme will definitely increase girl’s education ratio in Graduation and post graduation courses. The government would bear the entire college fees of the students till the completion of their study.
