About Anna Bhagya Scheme Karnataka
The new elected government of Karnataka state has launching numerous schemes for the welfare & growth of Karnataka. Recently, the Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. K. Siddaramaiah has launched Anna Bhagya Scheme Karnataka. Through this scheme, the Karnataka government will provide 10 kg rice to the BPL families of Karnataka state. 5 kg will be provide from central government & rest 5 kg will be provided by Karnataka government. These rice quantities will be distributed free of cost. Now, the families who are living their life below poverty line they do not have to worry about rice as central & state government is giving 10 kg rice to each & every BPL family of Karnataka state.
However due to unavailability of rice, the government has decided to give financial assistance to the BPL families. The rate of rice distributed by state government is Rs.34 per kg and the government will distribute 5 kg to each family. Now, instead of 5 kg rice the beneficiaries will receive Rs.170 per month in their respective bank account. The amount will be received in the beneficiary’s bank account within 15 days.
