About Department of Civil Supplies
The department is for the implementation of various statutory provisions contained by the Essential Commodities Act 1955. Department made the rules for regulating the procurement and/or distribution of essential commodities such as rice, wheat, sugar, edible oil and kerosene oil under the Public Distribution System (PDS). Following are the activities performed by the department for the public interest:

- Inclusion/deletion of family members.

Ration card is of three types: –
- APL Ration card

- To see the ration card list you should go to the website of Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.

- From opened page go to e- citizen option available in menu bar
- Drop down list will appear on the computer screen from where you should select “Know Your Ration Card” link
- Enter the captcha code and click submit option, this will lead to appear a dialogue box

- Hit ok option and select state, district, DFSO, Scheme (Type of card), date of date
- Hit view report option and a list will appear on the screen

- Further choose your supplies wing name and list will appear

Know Your Ration Entitlement?
- You should go to the website of Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.
- From opened page go to e- citizen option available in menu bar
- Drop down list will appear on the computer screen from where you should select “Know Your Ration Entitlement” link
- Enter the captcha code and click submit option

- SelectAllocation Type, Month, Year, District, DFSO, Tfso, FPS, Search Like (Name, RCID)
- Hit search option & information will be on the screen
Eligibility criteria for New Application
- Should be a permanent resident of Goa.
- Age should be above 18 years
- Should be the head of the family.
- Should not have a ration card of any other state.
Significant Document for New Application
- Aadhaar Card
- Affidavit to prove that not holding any ration card previously
- Applicant’s address Proof
- Bank passbook details.
- Driving License
- Income Certificate
- Passport size photograph of family members
- Voter ID
Apply new ration card
Applicant (head of the family) have to submit applicationon plain paper affixing non-judicial stamp of Rs.20/- on itaddressed to the Inspector of Civil Supplies. Must attach all the above-mentioned documents with it.
Apply for duplicate ration card
For issuance of duplicate ration card applicant have to submit applicationon plain paper affixing non-judicial stamp of Rs.20/- on it addressed to the Inspector of Civil Supplies along with self-declaration with photograph, Xerox copy of ration card, Missing Article Report from concerned Police Station and Report from Fair Price Shop Owner.
Apply for Inclusion of Name in Ration Card
Application on plain paper by the head of the family addressed to the Inspector of Civil Supplies for inclusion of child’s name/ daughter-in law/wife/others namein ration card. For the child upto five years, birth certificate is required and above five years, school bonafied certificate from school from beginning to till date is necessary and for daughter-in-law/wife/others name, original cancellation certificate/negative certificate from previous place of residence is necessary to submit along with copy of ration card, Aadhar card copy and Civil Marriage Certificate(if married).
Apply for Cancellation Certificate
Application on plain paper from the head of the family mentioning the place where certificate is required to be taken along with Ration card copy.
Apply for Cancellation Certificate for Portuguese Passport
Application from the head of the family on plain paper along with Ration card copy, Xerox copy of Portuguese Passport and Xerox copy of surrender of Indian Passport
