play and progress scheme 2023 -Mission Excellence Delhi Application Form

Play & Progress Scheme was announced by the government of Delhi for promoting the sport at the national level. Play & Progress and Mission Excellence Delhi are two separates schemes which are recently launched by the Delhi government. But the motive of both schemes is to encourage the sport in the state.  These both schemes will definitely give the boost to the sports in the state. Under Mission Excellence Delhi and Play & Progress Scheme the Government will provide the financial support to the sport persons of the state.

Mission Excellence Delhi

Under the Mission excellence Delhi government will provide the financial assistance to the sportsperson. This financial allowance will be give for training and coaching of the sportsmen. Mission Excellence Delhi Will surely helps the National level sportsperson to prepare them for national & international championships. The sportsperson who are suffering from the lack of money may avail the benefits of the scheme. Under Mission Excellence Delhi Government will provide INR 16 Lakh Rupees financial support for Food / Nutrition, sports equipments, sports kits, training and travel, boarding lodging & medical treatment facility.

Brief Summary Of  The Scheme

 Eligibility for Mission Excellence Delhi

• Candidate should have figures in the top 8 national ranking / rating in individual sports as on 31st December of a previous calendar year his / her respective age category.
• Should be the native of Delhi state.
• participants of Asian Games 2018 & Commonwealth Games 2018 are also eligible
• He / She should have represented Delhi in National tournaments and championship in any of the last 2 years,
• He / She should be enrolled for past 2 years/ passed out from Delhi schools.
• There is no age limit.

Mission Excellence Delhi Benefits

• INR 16 Lakh Rupees will be given to the beneficiary.
• Insurance coverage will be Rs. 10.00 lakhs i
• Accidental insurance coverage will be Rs. 10.00 lakhs

 Delhi Play & Progress Scheme

This Play & Progress Scheme is for the future of upcoming talent of Delhi in the field of sports. The Play & Progress Scheme provides financial assistance to upcoming school sportspersons of Delhi. Under the scheme the financial assistance will be provides for coaching, training, Food / Nutrition, sports equipments and for sports kits. Maximum financial assistance will be Rs 2 Lakh for students up to age of 14 years and 3 lakhs up to age of 17 years or actual which is less. This scheme will make the future of sport in the state. Play & Progress Scheme will promote the Sports at the junior level.

Benefits of Play & Progress Scheme

• The financial assistance will be give for two years.
• RS 3 lakhs upto age of 17 years.
• Rs 2 Lakh for students’ upto age of 14 years.
• Rupee 5 Lakh medical insurance will give to the sportsperson.
• Rupp 5 Lakh accidental insurance for the sportsperson

Eligibility for Play & Progress Scheme

• Any student below the age of 17 years or student studying upto Class XI.
• In individual games, he/she is ranked among the top 8 Delhi State Ranking/ Rating
• Regular student of any school situated in Delhi, for past 3 years.
• Must be the native of state form previous 3 years.
