Yuva Sahakar Scheme has been launched by the National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC). The main aim of this scheme is to attract the newly formed cooperatives to take advantage of innovative ventures specially for young entrepreneurs with innovative ideas. NCDC played a crucial role in promoting cooperative development in the country. The corporation introduces new schemes to provide support to the cooperatives. Recently the NCDC organizes the ‘India International Cooperative Trade Fair’ in October 2019 in New Delhi which will provide a platform for sale, market, product display, conferences, buyer-seller meet, networking, policy advocacy, etc. to national and international cooperatives and related institutions.

Yuva Sahakar Scheme 2020
NCDC introduces the “Cooperative Enterprise Support and Innovation Scheme” in which the cooperative societies will get inclusive, liberal with concessional funding support. This scheme is started with an annual outlay of Rs.100 crores. NCDC has already achieved an all-time high release of over ₹25,000 crores which is 210% of the current year target during the current financial year 2018-19. In the last five years (2014-15 to 2018-19)a remarkable increase of around 222% in disbursements as compared to the previous five years (2009-10 to 2013-14).

Eligibility:
- All type of cooperatives with new, innovative and value chain enhancement projects who are in operation from at least one year.
- If the society is associated with more than 3 years, should not incur any cash loss in the past three years
- If the society is associated less than three years, it should not incur any cash loss in past one year.
