PM Employment Generation Programme Scheme Objective

Subsidy provided under PMEGP Loan Scheme 2023

25% subsidy will be provided to the general category unemployed youth to start their business in the rural department and 15% subsidy will be provided to start their business in the urban department but 10% of the payment will be given by the candidate only.
35% subsidy will be provided to the special category (SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman) unemployed youth to start their business in the rural department and25% subsidy will be provided to start their business in the urban department but 05% of the payment will be given by the candidate only.

The applicant must check the eligibility criteria before applying for the scheme.
He should be the permanent resident of India.
Applicant must be of age 18 years or above.
Candidate must have passed 8th class to be benefited by this scheme.
Only to start the fresh business loans are provided in this scheme.
Expansion of previous business is not provided under this scheme.
Training from any government institute there will be placed high in the list of beneficiaries.

How to Apply for PMEGP Loan Scheme 2023

The application procedure for the above scheme is divided into two steps and they are as follows.

Step I

First of all, go to the Official Website of the yojana.
The homepage of the website will show on the screen.

Select the PMEGP option from the homepage of the website.
A new page will show on the screen.
Now click on the PMEGP E-Portal.

After this, you have to select the option online application form of an Individual.
The application form will appear on the screen.
Enter all the details in the application form like aadhar card number, applicants name, state, district, gender, qualification, mobile number, PAN card number, date of birth, address, etc

Step II

Now select the option save application data after providing all the details mentioned above.
Now you have to take the printout of your application form and submit it to the nearest DIC or KVIC under which you have applied.
There will be an interview session by the nodal agency.
If your project is selected then your project will be sent to the bank. Now you have to submit all the necessary documents asked by the bank.
After your application form and document inspection, the bank will respect the project Palace and grant you the loan. You have to submit bank permission in the DIC or KVIC.
Now you have to take the EDP training.
Submit the training certificate in the DIC or KVIC.
After all this, your subsidy will be sent to the bank by the government.
