PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme 2024
Pradhan Mantri Samman Nidhi Yojana was announced by the Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal in the Financial Budget , which has officially started on 1 February 2019 by the Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi. Under this scheme, 6000 rupees per annum are being provided by the government to small and marginal farmers of the country. These 6000 rupees will be given to the farmers in three installments. The Government of India wants to support all the small and marginal farmers.

- Under this scheme, the government has targeted to cover about 12 crore small and marginal farmers of the country. The central government has put the cost of PM Kisan Nidhi Scheme at Rs 75000 crore.

- Under this Pradhan Mantri Kisan Nidhi scheme, the amount is given in installments and will be transferred to the bank account of the farmers through DBT, so the beneficiary should have his own bank account.
