About One Rank One Pension (OROP)
Earlier the pension received by military personnel’s is calculated on the base of the pay commission recommendations in place at the time of retirement. This clearly means that the army personnel who retired in different years will receive different amount of pension. But now, due to announcement of One Rank One Position, the military personnel instead of their different years of retirement they all will receive the same amount of pension.
One Rank One Pension has come into effect on July 1, 2022. The total number of beneficiaries or retired military personnel under OROP is 25 lakh 13 thousand.

OROP Pension Table 2023
Many conflicts have happened to launch this One Rank One Pension (OROP).
