About National Population Register Manual 2020
National Population Register is created as per the scheme was undertaken under the provisions of The Citizenship Act 1955 and The Citizenship Rules, 2003. Under this, the government is going to collect the data from all over India with respect to counting of houses and population. Recently census of India 2021 has been announced and the Central government is going to start collecting the information from households in April 2020.
