The Online Application of Girl Child Scholarship is available till 18th October 2019. The Girl student who has passed High school examination with minimum 60 % marks may apply for the scheme. About CBSE Merit Based Single Girl Child Scholarship
After passing the Class 10th Examination the girls who are studying in Class XI or Class XII (Affiliated by CBSE) may apply for the CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship. The beneficiary of the merit based scholarship scheme will get Rs 500 per month or Rs 6000 annually. Parents who have a single girl child and whose Monthly Tuition fee is Up To 1500 Per Month may apply for the Scheme. Selection Process CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship
- A student should have passed Class X Examination from the CBSE and secured 60% or more marks.
- Pursuing Class XI & XII from CBSE affiliated Schools.
- Student (Girl) should be ONLY CHILD of their parents.
- Original Affidavit duly attested by the First Class Judicial Magistrate/ SDM/ Executive Magistrate/Notary as per prescribed format available on the Board’s website. (Photocopy of Affidavit will not be accepted).
- The undertaking should be attested by the School Principal from where the student is pursuing Class XI after passing Class X from the Board’s Examination.
- Tuition fee should not be more than Rs. 1,500/- per month in Class X and 10% enhancement for Class XI & XII.

How To Apply For CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship
Fresh Application Form
- Applicants who want to apply for Scholarship Scheme Firstly Visit at the official website.
- After that click on the ‘Guidelines and Application Forms/ Apply Online’ option.
- Now at the official website, you will get “SGC-X – Fresh Application” Option
- Enter your roll number and date of birth (as printed on the Class X mark sheet)
- Enter all particulars carefully and submit the form.
- Note down the registration number displayed on the page. The registration number will be used for future preference.
- Print the undertaking as provided in the ‘Guidelines Document’, fill it, paste the photograph and get it attested from the school.
- Go to the ‘upload document’ option and upload both the above-mentioned documents.
- Go to print ‘confirmation page’ option and generate the confirmation page.
Renewal Application Form
- The Candidate who wants to renew their application form firstly they have to visit Official website
- Now at the homepage of the CBSE you will get “SGC-X – Renewal” Option
- Click on the option and enter High School Roll Number and Date of Birth (Enter roll no. and DoB as printed on your class X 2018 certificate)
- Enter all particulars carefully and submit the form.
- After that click on the submit button and take a print out of Application form.
