AP YSR Pelli Kanuka Status 2022
YSR Pelli Kanuka is a state government scheme. This scheme is to provide financial support and security to poorest families for the girl’s wedding ceremony and to provide financial security even after the marriage. Financial assistance will be provided by the sanctioning authority State Level- Director of Backward Classes Welfare Department, Rural Areas-Panchayat Raj Department and Urban Areas- Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department from Rs. 20000/- to Rs. 100000/-.

Objective of YSR Pelli Kanuka Scheme
The main objective of the scheme is as under:
- To help the poor girl by providing financial support.
- To abolish child marriages
- To protect the bride by registering the marriage.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility conditions, in case of both bride & groom are a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh State:
- Both bride & groom must enrolled in Praja Sadhikara Survey
- The bride must have a white ration card
- Age of bride is must be 18 years and age of the groom is must be 21 years old
- Only those who are marrying for the first time can avail the benefits of the scheme
- The bride can apply for the scheme again in case she is a widow
- Marriage must be taken place within the state

Registration Procedure For Rural Area Applicants
- To register yourself applicants who belong to the rural area have to go to Registration-Cum-Help Desks at the Mandal Mahila Samakhyas / Velugu Office at least five days before marriage
- Fill the application form with all the necessary information such as the name of the bride, groom, date of birth, Aadhaar number etc.
- Attach the necessary documents along with the form and submit the application form in the same office.
Registration Procedure for Urban Area Applicants
- To register yourself applicants who belong to the urban area have to go to Registration-Cum-Help Desks at the MEPMA Municipality Office at least five days before marriage
- Fill the application form with all the necessary information such as the name of the bride, groom, date of birth, Aadhaar number etc.
- Attach the necessary documents along with the form and submit the application form in the same office.

- From home page, you need to click “దరఖాస్తు స్థితిని తెలుసుకోండి / Know Your Application Status” link
- Now you need to enter “ID or Bride/Groom Aadhaar” in the given space
