YSR Navaratnalu scheme has been launched for the welfare of the people. This scheme is a combination of nine welfare schemes which are Amma Vodi, YSR Asara, Ban on Alcohol, Jalayagnam, Fee Reimbursement, Arogyasri, YSR Rythu Bharosa, Pedhalandariki Illu, and Pensionla Pempu. Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy is planning to raise funds as the state is suffering from fund crashes under an initiative called “Connect to Andhra”. Amma Vodi

Amma vodi scheme is to encourage the mothers to send their children to school. The government will provide Rs. 15000/- to the mothers who send their children to school for studies. This is also another initiative of the Andhra Pradesh government to encourage the students towards education.

YSR Navaratnalu scheme

YSR Asara

YSR Asara scheme is to provide financial help to the women who are running co-operative societies. Under this scheme, the government is planning to waive off the loans and provide them a 0% interest loan. This scheme is especially for the women whose age is more than 45 years and belongs to SC, ST, BC and Minority Communities.

Ban on Alcohol

The government of Andhra Pradesh state has decided to put a ban on the sale of alcohol within the state. Under this scheme, the government will take the initiative to ban alcohol in three stages.

Jalayagnam

Jalayagnam scheme is very beneficial for several families within the state. Under this scheme, the government will go to improve the irrigation projects and complete the projects which are yet in progress. Irrigation projects like Polavaram project will be completed first.

Fee Reimbursement

YSR Arogyasri

The Arogyasri scheme aim is to improve the healthcare sector of the state. The government has promised to provide free medical treatment above the amount of Rs.1000 to the patients. This scheme is for those families who belong to the Below Poverty Line. Medical expenses up to Rs. 5 Lakh will be given by the government for the treatment of the patient. 

YSR Rythu Bharosa

The YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme’s main beneficiaries are farmers. The government will provide financial assistance of Rs.50000/-. From the starting of the second year, each of the beneficiary’ families will get Rs.12500 per year. In addition to this, the government has promised to provide zero-interest loans and free borewells. Cold storages and food processing units in every constituency will come up.

Pedhalandariki Illu

Pedhalandariki Illu scheme’s objective is to provide the houses to the poor people. Under this scheme, the government of the state has promised to provide financial help to the weaker section to build houses. In five years the government has promised to build 25 Lakh houses.

Pension Scheme

Under the Pension scheme, the government will provide the pension to the citizen of the state whose age is more than 60 years. Applicants will get the monthly pension in their bank account. The pension amount is Rs. 2000/- and for physically challenged citizens its Rs. 3000/-. As per the new initiative soon the pension amount will increase.

New Initiative

Additionally, as per the information we get the state government is planning for the setup of “section 8 company” under the companies act 2013. The purpose of Section 8 company is intended for the promotion of commerce, art, science, sports, education, research, social welfare, religion, charity and protection of the environment, among other objectives. The government promises to increase the monthly old-age pension to Rs.3000 per head. Increase in farmer welfare schemes like Rythu Bharosa and healthcare schemes like Aarogyasri. Economic experts give a rough estimate of Navaratnalu schemes is around Rs.60000 crores.
