To provide quality information about the course curriculum of the school the Government of Andhra Pradesh state has come up with a new scheme which is known as the AP Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Kits. Through the implementation of this scheme, school kits will be provided to all of the children who are studying in the state-level government school of Andhra Pradesh. These kits will have important material for the practice and the knowledge of the school course curriculum.

Components Of The Scheme

The kits that will be distributed in the scheme will have the following components in them:-

  • A school bag
  • Text and notebooks
  • Cloth for three pairs of uniform
  • A pair of shoes
  • Two pairs of socks and a belt

Implementation Of Jagananna Vidya Kanuka Kits

The scheme will be implemented as soon as possible. Also, there are about 36, 10,000 students and on June 1, each student will be given a kit worth ₹ 1,350. The government has aimed to increase the literacy rate and the Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in colleges. These rates will be increased through the initiatives. Also, the work for refurbishment of 12,365 schools had been initiated under the first phase of the Naadu-Nedu scheme. The government is spending an additional ₹344 crore for the implementation of the ‘Goru Mudda’ scheme. Ration and quality of the food would be verified at four levels by different agencies, including parents, SHGs, Village and Ward Secretariats, and RDOs.

Eligibility Criteria

The students must follow the following eligibility criteria to enroll themselves under the scheme:-

  • The student must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh state
  • The student was studying between class 1st to class 10th
  • A student must have regular attendance criteria
  • The student must be studying in a government-oriented School.
